New Obsession

Well, I must confess. I have a new obsession. Shutterfly Photo Books! I've purchased my Holiday cards through Shutterfly for a few years now and when I received an email saying they were having a New Year's 40% off sale on Photo Books I thought what the heck I'll take a crack at it. I used to scrapbook and it was fun, but when you have two little kids and work 40 hours a week who has time for that! I was also feeling guilty I haven't done anything with my photos and they were just sitting in various files at work and at home. So like they say for scrapbooking, start current and work your way backwards. I started with 2011.

I like my 2011 Book, but I'm not in LOVE with it. It should arrive today and I'm anxious to see how it turned out for "REALS".  I wasn't used to all the embellishments and background options. I thought I just wanted to go simple white and let my photos speak for themselves. Then the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to take another crack. So I started going through my 2010 photos. In May 2010 I got a new camera, me being the can't be bothered with person I am I never set the date on it. Boy, let me tell you. I've set the date now - LOL I had to go by how chubby Asa's cheeks were to figure out the timeline on my photos! With out further ado here is 2010. I'm still not necessarily in LOVE with the whole thing. There are some pages I REALLY LOVE, but some I'm just okay with.

I'm hooked now and once I muster the gumption to start 2009 it might take me awhile. My OCD tendencies kick in hardcore with this kind of stuff. It's my advertising major coming out... It's all about placement baby :)
